The exercise in this study introduced body movements to imagine pitches and to strengthen the memory of the pitch “do"(C4), referring to the eurythmic music teaching approach. The exercise was practiced 15 times for nearly two months by all the thirdgrade children of Z elementary school (N = 78) in Hiroshima City, and practical music tests were conducted thrice to clarify transformations in sight-singing ability.
