The purpose of the study is to strengthen students’ competences of “4×3 Hijiyama Excellence --- 4 competences of independence, imagination, symbiosis, creativity” through participating in the internship.\nThe result shows most of the students feel the improvement in all abilities through their internship experience. Especially considering communication skills, the author found that all participants had consciously worked well in their internship. Moreover, the students dealt with each activity with favorable motivation in order to enhance other skills as well. However in some cases, only understanding their present ability was observed due to the short period of the internship.\nThe companies which accepted the students generally showed appreciation of the students’ motivation and efforts. In addition, they offered some helpful advice about skills needed in the future. It can be said that the internship experience will be more important for the students to choose their occupation.
