| 内容記述 | This study examines a survey for the students who participated in internship programs and the evaluation by the participating companies. The purpose of the study is to strengthen students’ competences of “4×3 Hijiyama Excellence --- 4 competences of independence, imagination, symbiosis, creativity” through participating in the internship. The result shows most of the students feel the improvement in all abilities through their internship experience. Especially considering communication skills, the author found that all participants had consciously worked well in their internship. Moreover, the students dealt with each activity with favorable motivation in order to enhance other skills as well. However in some cases, only understanding their present ability was observed due to the short period of the internship. The companies which accepted the students generally showed appreciation of the students’ motivation and efforts. In addition, they offered some helpful advice about skills needed in the future. It can be said that the internship experience will be more important for the students to choose their occupation. It is predictable that the more companies relate internships to job hunting, the more students need to acquire essential qualities for future work in advance of the internship. An assessment of the most appropriate way to develop students in the internship is required. |
